I think his reasoning there would still stand if, instead of Napom, it was someone else nobody had ever heard of before but had the same kind of round. Someone new but with the same level of skill wouldn't be scored down for a few seconds of fun, "suboptimal" beatboxing.

Don't get me wrong, I like Napom's old stuff.... but he's been using the same beats in GBB for what? Over 5 years? Some of these go back to GBB 2017 (6-7 years ago) They're good and all, but overly played I feel. Seems like he's just buying time and that his routines are less creative in general because it's something we've all been hearing year after year

I was also blown away by Improver’s control w duck sound. He’s so clean w it and makes it look so easy that I think people underrate how sick it is. His second round composition was sooo good. If you listen to a lot of EDM, you should appreciate . That bit is so fresh for me. Haven’t heard that kind of beat done in beatbox before.

ive been doing feedback twchniques with the hollow clop for many years now. Never really in a battle. The thing Wing did here was one of the best things ive heard at any beatbox event live. Trust me ive been to lots of events and holy shit wing is so clear in this battle
